Hello God
Hello God, I want to talk to you.
I want to share my thoughts, and all I say and do.
I know that you will listen, to everything I want to say,
I know that I am so very blessed, to talk with you this way.
I try hard to be patient with those you send my way,
but I almost lost my cool with my grumpy neighbor today.
I tried my best to calm her down,
she just looked at me with piercing eyes and frowned.
I thought, "there's no use in helping her," the way she looked at me,
she doesn't deserve my help Lord, as you can plainly see.
What's that you say? I've also done the same,
and yet I claim your name?
Thank you lord for reminding me that I'm not perfect yet,
and help me this lesson never to forget.
There's many things I can learn, and Lord you're teaching me,
while I'm helping others, this I will agree.
You send different people in our lives all along,
and when things don't go right we wonder what's wrong.
Help us to learn a lesson from each test you give,
so we can use it to help others know how to live.
I don't want to complain when things don't go my way,
cause I could sure use your help every single day.
I want to help my neighbor love you like I do,
so we can go to heaven, to spend eternity with you.
You said to love my neighbor, just like I do myself,
and not to shun them, while I sit upon a shelf.
I'm going to get busy right now, doing what I can.
I want to be a soul winner all throughout the land.
Friend when you die what will you say,
Will you turn to Him and say no one showed you the way?
Don't use that for an excuse pray tell,
it's better to surrender to the Lord now than winding up in hell.

| Wow. A long poem but good. Is Mary Eldridge related to that guy that wrote 'The Ransomed Heart'? Mom's reading that now. |

Hi junco, no Lone is just a very good friend & a sister in the family of God.
I'm so glad your posting over here.
Maddi, didn't you say Chris was your mother?
There's something i need to tell you. It's ok if your mom & dad wan't to post under your username junco! But they should not join if you are of the same household. Only one account per household!
God Bless You Maddi,
Nobby |

OK, we want to follow the rules here. Chris and I can post under 'junco' but we aren't members here at ChristianDiscussion.com. It's Maddi's membership, right? That's fine!

Hi les, actually this is the first time I've had to deal with it.
The board rules are at the top of this forum, the Christian Member Lounge. Actually I may have told you wrong, rule #8 below says:
8- Do not use multiple screen names. Use only one account per household.
12) Users are responsible for the content of their own posts.
On second thought since I read rule #8 maybe it wouldn't be a good idea.
I have an Admin above me, he owns these boards & he wrote the rules!
I'm sorry |

No, no, Sir! We're not here to buck the rules, really not! We're all three newcomers, and anxious to follow them. That's why I asked. |
