| I just read the synopsis of the upcoming Robert DeNiro movie, Godsend. The couple in the film lose their son and want him to be cloned. What are your thoughts on this? Is cloning ethical/moral? Under what circumstances? Any thoughts/opinions/ideas? |

Hi BubbaGump04,
I don't know much about cloning. But as a christian believer, I can't believe that God would agree to this. I believe that everytime man does something like this, it grieves God.
Welcome to the board Bubba, glad to have you. Any questions, just ask.
Check the board rules. Be looking for your posts.

Remember how I mentioned the movie Godsend in my last post? Well I found this site when I was researching cloning on the internet:
http://www.godsendinstitute.org
Pretty crazy stuff! I wonder if the movie is based on this. I called the number but just got their voicemail. What do you think? |

Hi Bubba,
You're right, pretty crazy stuff!
I believe we are living near the time that Christ returns. But if He should tarry we may see a time when you need a new body part you just have it replaced! Kinda like taking your car to a garage!!
Peace, |

Hi Bubba,
Are you getting alot of signatures for your petition?
I pray that you do! If God had intended us to have spare parts. He would have sent along extra parts when we were born. |

| Why would cloning be unethical, and why would God be against it? |

No I don't think it is right in the eyes of God, I think it's just another attempt for man to try to play God!
What do you think of sperm banks? All a woman has to do is go to a sperm bank. She never knows, or has to know who the father is. Sometimes she may be told somethings about him
I would venture to say that God doesn't approve of this either.
Some husbands save their sperm, in this case the wife would know.

| Human cloning is inappropriate and unnecessary. If something is meant to be, it will and if not, it won't. But we can't force something so unnatural. |
