The church today is engaged in a big controversy, is the pre-trib rapture of God or is the post-trib rapture of God? Without taking sides I will let the reader decide. It really all boils down to one place in scripture,Matt24. In Matt24 the pre-trib position is created by believing that when Jesus told the apostles about his return, that Jesus did not consider the apostles to be the church or to become the church. The apostles were Jews, if Jesus did not recognize them at that time as the church or the forerunners of the church, then they would just be citizens of national Israel. If Jesus recognized the apostles as citizens of national Israel only, then the return Jesus described that was for them, would of course be for national Israel only......This is where the idea of the pre-trib rapture comes from.....the concept that Jesus did not consider the apostles to be the church or the forerunners of the church in Matt24. On the other hand, if Jesus considered the apostles to be the church or to become the church,then the return of Christ that Jesus described would have to be for the church.

Hi samson495, I believe the Pre-Trib Rapture is only for His bride The Church His people. Hes coming for the born-again Christians both gentiles & Christians Jews.
