My Mom and Dad have a theory about how God and the person relate to each other. My folks say that if each of us looks inside himself it shouldn't take more than ten seconds to realize that each of us is completely unique. Never been anyone else quite like each of us, never will be.
I don't want to talk about cloning, here. Cloning is still theoretical where people are concerned and Dad says it's illegal now anyway. My folks think that a lot of Christian belief has very much to do with one-on-one between God and the believer.
So if we're each unique, then wouldn't we each have a unique view? The God that I see out of my eyes - wouldn't He look different from the one you see out of your eyes?
If so, how is the Church ever going to be united? I don't mean the Catholic Church, I mean the World Church. Would that be big C or little c?

Junco, do you accept that God is the God of truth, and not the God of confusion? Scripture asserts this, thus if one is to believe scripture then one necessarily has to accept that there is a universal, absolute truth in God.
If we accept that there is absolute truth in God, then we must reject the idea of relative truth of God depending upon the view of the individual. |

| Yes, but if you're an individual, how do you have a view of God that is more than your view? See? You can't be more than you are, because the second you is the same as the first you. |
