A bizarre thought??

I finished the NT and I have been reading Genesis for almost 2 weeks now.

When I re-read the creation of mankind, an odd thought hit me.

Let me present the scriptures first then the thought that occurred to me:

Gen 1:26,27: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

There has been much discussion over these two verses. Much hypothesizing. Is there more than 1 God? (The answer to the first question is unquestionably no. There is but 1 God). Was He speaking to Jesus? Could he have been speaking to angels? Or......

Could God have a female mate much as a man has a wife? Does God have a helpmate?

Is this a crazy question or what?

Eve came forth of Adam.

Jesus came forth of God.

Not such a crazy question, I think.

Christ is the head. The church is the Body. They two are One.
Both head and Body complete the man.

God said to the man..

I believe God was speaking to Christ/Head and the Body/church..because they are both one together.
neither is the head without the body or the body without the head..so they two become one flesh..
mind, body and soul..

I believe the Angels are the church members in particular.
