Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the Longest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?

A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118
Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q: What is the center verse in the Bible?

A: Psalms 118:8

Does this verse say something significant
about God's perfect will for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

Ya know, as I was re-reading this post I noticed that my cut and paste forgot to paste about Psalm 119 - the whole thing would make more sence then, wouldn't it?

JP, I really like Psalm:103. (Thanksgiving for God's mercy) A very special verse to me is verse 1
1( Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.

I'm particularly fond of Psalm 5. I had it as a song on one of my 'Praise" albums back in the early '80s

Psalm 5
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

I wish I could find those 'Praise" albums and the 'Maranatha' albums on CD somewhere.

Jp, if you have the 'Praise" albums. You could get them burnt on to a CD.
Couldn't you? The 'Maranatha' albums must be on CD's somewhere. I've never looked for them. I've had several of my old records transfered to CD.
Take Care,
