Some of us are so intent on proving God's existence that we miss the whole concept of faith.
God can't be proven or explained. In the final analysis, He's known only by faith - & faith defiles understanding. If salvation was based on I.Q., most of us wouldn't stand a chance. But God designed it so that, "the most stupid cannot miss the way" (Is.35:8 TLB). and children can "enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mt. 18:3).
Our hardest struggles usually come from wanting explanations and proof. That's why Paul says, "To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually is life." Gods looking for people who will simply take Him at His Word. When He finds them, He uses them greatly and rewards them richly.
In the OT He found a man named Abraham and called him His friend 2Ch 20:7.
Was that because Abraham was perfect? Hardly; not once, but twice he lied saying his wife was his sister. And when God told him to leave his relatives behind, he decided to bring along his nephew and father-in-law! But one thing that Abraham had going for him was," God considered him righteous on account of his
faith"(Ge 15:6 TLB). Faith gives you a credit-line with God!
Hebrews, Chapter11 chronicles a list of people who received blessings through faith. Just like money in the natural world, faith is the exchange that's used my Gods kingdom. It defies reason, transcends feeling, and gets results every time.
So today " START USING YOUR FAITH!
